It's 2013, which brings a whole new year to make some New Year's resolutions. Do you plan to make a lifestyle change? Lose weight? Change jobs? Improve your relationships? Here is some inspiration from someecards to help you stick to those resolutions -- or not.

Oh yes, I've got a Tropical Itch! 'Tis the season to wish myself away to tropical lands where I'm laying on the beach sipping Tiki drinks. Then again, we've had an incredibly mild winter here in Buffalo. Regardless, at my house, we like to celebrate the holiday season with some tropical cocktails while listening to some Christmas Exotica tunes (it's a style of music, you perv!).

It's a Festivus for the rest of us! You can air your grievances while sipping on a wonderful Festivus Cocktail.

It's only the first week of December, and some of you may be saying, "Bah humbug!" Have a few Grinch Cocktails to settle down and perhaps put you more in the "ho-ho-ho" spirit. If not, at least you'll be feeling happy and buzzed!

A sure way to never get invited back to holiday festivities is buying all the wee ones toys that make noise, make a mess or may maim them. Plus, your annoying gift idea may backfire when you're asked to babysit (trust me, I'm an aunt, and I've learned this lesson the hard way). Thanksgiving is over, and now it's full speed ahead into the Christmas season, which includes letting Santa know what is on your wishlist. But some little ones don't seem to enjoy those visits with jolly St. Nick that much. Luckily, the photos are absolutely hilarious!

You may need a stiff drink after maneuvering through crowds to get all those Black Friday deals, or you may need some hair of the dog after your Thanksgiving festivities. Either way, give a bourbon Black Friday Cocktail a try.

Though there's plenty of frustration during Black Friday shopping madness, and though you may find yourself wanting to go postal waiting in long checkout lines, let's not forget our manners.
