Buffalo Artist Needs Your Old Legos

A Buffalo-area artist is in need of help -- in the form of plastic bricks.

In anticipation of the outdoor art exhibit "PLAY/GROUND," artist Bianca L. McGraw is "making a life-size figure of a Black Lives Matter protester out of LEGOs," reports WGRZ.

After the exhibition closes, the LEGOs will be divided up and donated to Buffalo school children.

McGraw's piece is set for display in front of the Swan Street Diner in Larkinville. "PLAY/GROUND" is a nine-day art event, and begins on September 11.

But she needs more bricks to make the art piece happen. McGraw told WGRZ:

"But we still need another maybe 10, 20 thousand LEGOs, both the little tiny LEGOs, and the bigger LEGOs. Really any LEGOs that people would like to donate."
