A flea market in Hamburg has gotten some national attention thanks in part to an article that featured Buffalo radio legend, Danny Neaverth!

Everyone has a hidden talent or hobby that they enjoy that perhaps even their friends and family didn’t know about. I have been a fan of Danny Neaverth since I was a child and my mom would listen to him  mornings before we went to school. Danny Neaverth is a Western New York/National radio icon and has a really interesting hobby.

Who doesn’t love a good flea market? There are so many unique treasures that you can find and it is also a great way to support your community. Now that we are closing in on the holidays, and thinking ahead to Christmas shopping,  perhaps it is time to visit a flea market or antique shop?

With the shortages that are in place and those that are looming prior to Christmas shopping, it may be a good idea to shop local and find treasures like train collections to add to your shopping list. The good news is, at these locations your purchase is available for pick up right away. There’s no need to worry about a shipment being delayed or trucking issues or even staffing issues when it comes to getting your package is ready to arrive at your house.

It was great to see some of the collection from Danny Neavreth and the behind the scenes of his hobby while he was set up at St. Maty's of the Lake's Famous Flea Market. Check out the interview that they did with him about a few of the tips he has for those interested in beginning to collect trains

I had no idea that Danny was also a toy train aficionado!

This was a huge bonus for what is already a great place to find some unique treasures!
