Dangerous Playground Equipment Being Removed In Erie County

Officials in Erie County are warning parents about playground equipment that has become off limits for kids to use.

Because of the threat of lead paint chips and kids being exposed. Erie County will shut down and begin to remove old and dangerous playground equipment.

According to Metro Source News:

Equipment at all six county parks will be removed or covered up if they've tested positive for lead.  A study shows dozens of pieces of equipment, including slides and swings, have lead paint that could be harmful to children.
