Full Moon For This Friday The 13th

When the 13th of the month falls on a Friday, we can't help but feel spooked.

But when there will also be a full moon?

Extra spooky.

And for a full moon to fall on a Friday the 13th is pretty rare: according to the Farmer's Almanac, there hasn't been a nationwide Friday the 13th full Moon since Oct. 13, 2000, and we'll have to wait until Aug. 13, 2049 for the next one.

WGRZ reports, "This year, the September full Moon is known as the Harvest Moon, because it's the full Moon occurring closest to the autumnal equinox, according to the Farmer's Almanac."
