Some parts of Western New York were predicted to see a little bit of snow this week, which actually isn’t unusual for October. Who could forget that insane winter storm that walloped the area nearly 20 years ago in mid-October. We also almost forgot that we saw a little bit of snow on Halloween just last year.

According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, Buffalo is looking at a warmer winter than usual and less snowfall than we usually get on average, but we still should expect to see some flakes fly in late December, late January, and late February.
That being said, Western New York locals know to be prepared for the worst, just in case.
