The Best New Foods Being Offered At The 2025 Erie County Fair

This past weekend, I had an opportunity to try some select new food options at the Erie County Fair.  Here are the ones I liked the best.

It's the call that I've been waiting for for years. "Would you be interested in being a judge for the new foods at this year's Erie County Fair?" Who says no to that?

It was an honor to be asked to try out some of the new foods, and it was a job that I took seriously. These vendors work their butts off to make sure to give you their most creative and tasty creations. I want to make sure that they get the credit that they're due.

Here are the new foods that I got to try:

Snack Attack - Waffle Wagon

Cookie Butter Frozen Cheesecake - Polar Bear Concessions

Dubai Chocolate Bites - Venus

The Boba Bucket - Boba Tea

Sundae In A Bag - The Original Barbie's Ice Cream Shoppe

My Favorites:

I absolutely loved the Buffalo Chicken Wonton from Eastern Pearl. I'm a huge fan of Asian-style food anyway, so when you mix that with a Buffalo favorite, it makes it easy to knock it out of the park. It's a deep-fried wonton filled with shredded chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and sharp cheddar cheese. It came with a boom boom sauce for dipping in. It was easily one of my favorites.

The Boom Boom Chicken Mac & Cheese from Brody's Mac & Cheese was delicious too. That one is a cheesy mac & cheese topped with crispy chicken bites, then drizzled with zesty boom boom sauce. It looks like a small container, but it's very filling. It's perfect for walking the fair when you're hungry.

Have you been wanting to try a Dubai chocolate bar, but haven't wanted to pay the crazy price that they cost? They've got Dubai Chocolate Bites at Venus and these were about as close to the real thing as they get. They were very good.

We were judging to find out the winners of the New Food Showdown Celebrity competition. The foods that scored the highest and were the winners included:
