A popular local chef in the Western New York area is starring in a new nationwide truck commercial. 

Chef Darian Bryan is originally from Jamaica, but as he ventured into the food industry to become a chef and a restauranteur, he found a new home in Buffalo, New York. 

At the age of 12, he started to get into the culinary arts while in Jamaica, when he helped his mother cook in her shop. By age 20, Chef Darian moved to the United States to attend culinary school at Erie Community College

Chef Darian has accomplished so many things since being in Western New York, including being featured on Food Network, CBS News, and ESPN. He has also cooked for Buffalo Bills players, including Mitch Morse, Taiwan Jones, and more. 

Chef Darian is also known around Western New York as the owner of The Plating Society in Larkinville, so many people have tried his food! And now, you may have recognized him in a new RAM Truck Commercial. 

When Chef Darian shared the news about the commercial on LinkedIn, he wrote, “Just like Ram excels at making top trucks, I've found my passion in creating delicious food for my community.”
