This Big Name In Local Beer Is Opening An Amherst Location
Buffalo and its surrounding areas are booming with local craft breweries and bars. It seems like we’re constantly hearing about a new brewery, bar or pub opening up in Western New York (not that we’re complaining).
One big name in the Buffalo beer game has revealed a brand new location will be opening soon in an ideal area, and let’s just say that the college kids will be excited.
Popular Local Beer Spot Opening New Locations
One business name that keeps popping up in the news for expanding is Fattey Beer Co., and Buffalo craft beer fans are here for it.
If you happen to drive by one of the many Fattey Beer locations in our area on a warm, sunny afternoon, you’re sure to see a packed patio. And for good reason - the beer store and tasting room has literally hundreds of local and imported craft beers and ciders available for happy hour or taking home.
Fattey Beer Co. recently revealed a new bottle shop will be opening up June 1st in Lancaster, joining their popular downtown, Hamburg, Kenmore, North Tonawanda, and Orchard Park locations. But they’re not stopping there.
Fattey Beer Co. Opening Amherst Location
UB students - get ready! A seventh Fattey Beer Co. is coming to 1260 Sweet Home Road in Amherst, right across from the University of Buffalo North Campus.
Fattey’s new spot, which should be ready to visit by the end of the summer, is slated to be 2,200 square feet with a bottle shop and an outdoor patio - something that Amherst definitely doesn’t have enough of.
The new Fattey Beer Co. location is sure to be a hot spot for the college crowd looking to wind down after class or for a weekend hang (it’s also right next to Mighty Taco in case it’s a late night).
But it could also potentially be a great place for suburban commuters to stop for happy hour or to pick up some fun beers for the fridge on the way home.
Bring on the beer, Buffalo! We can’t get enough of it.
