Favorite, New “Restaurant” is VERY Buffalo, New York
Our new, favorite restaurant isn't even a spot that you can really go down and sit to have meal. It is a really cool new concept that screams "Buffalo, New York".
It is called Pierogi Time, but think ice cream stand style.
You just walk up to the window and order what kind of pierogis that you want and then you take them to go. It seemed pretty cheap, too. I think we paid 8 dollars for an order of pierogis and they had some of the Western New York favorites--buffalo chicken, pork, famers cheese or onion and cheddar.

Buffalo loves their pierogis. Western New York loves Dyngus Day, and pierogis are a staple food for that day. It's Pierogi Time reminds me if how cool it is to live in a city with the food scene that Buffalo, New York has.
Right now, we are in the middle of Restaurant Week. It is a little different from the Buffalo Restaurant Week that happens in the middle of October every single year, but this Spring is a Restaurant Week sponsored by New York State. There are some pre-fixed menu deals by restaurants. For example, here in Orchard Park, New York, Wayland Brewing you can get a smoked cashew dip or a soft pretzel, any sandwich and any beer for only $35.
There are other restaurants that are participating in this week's New York State's Restaurant week including Simply Loaded, Buffalo Burger Bros, Blue Eyed Baker and Osteria 166.
This installment of the Restaurant Week goes only until the end of this week and end on May 10, 2025.
