You Could Meet Shaq This Weekend In Western New York

A legend that goes beyond the sport of basketball, Shaquille O’Neal will be in the Western New York area this weekend. And….you could see him! 

Shaq is a former NBA basketball player who played for six teams in his 19-year career playing professional basketball. He is a four-time NBA champion and considered to be one of the greatest centers to play the game of basketball (even if he struggled at the free throw line). 

Shaq would be a tough guy to overlook, especially since he stands at 7’1. Now, Shaq is a sports analyst for Inside the NBA, alongside his buddy and former NBA star Charles Barkley. However, Shaq has a side hustle that not many people may be aware of. 

He’s a pretty successful DJ. 

Known by his stage name DJ Diesel, Shaquille O’Neal will be performing for the audience this weekend at Buffalo Riverworks. With a line-up of Bass All Stars, including Trivecta, Levity, Gorillat, and Stoned Level, you can be part of this memorable night on Saturday, August 17 at Riverworks.  

Shaq has a show in Washington, D.C. on the night before his show in Buffalo, so you may not see him much on Friday. However, it looks like Shaq has the whole weekend free after his performance at Riverworks, so he may stick around for a while. Who knows…maybe he will stop by Chef’s in Buffalo to try their legendary sauce.
