
It’s Still Too Early To See Halloween Decorations
There is just something special about summertime in Buffalo. From the moment the winter weather breaks and the ice boom comes out of Lake Erie, the people of Western New York end their winter hibernation and head outside for several months of fun, sun, beaches, drinks, and sports.
However, all that is good can't last forever, and for many, Labor Day counts as the unofficial end of summer. With football back in our lives and the kids going back to school, the march from summer to autumn often happens pretty quickly. But, it seems that all kinds of people all over the region want fall to come faster and faster every single year.
So fast that many of us started to see something in stores all over the 716 that we were ready for - Halloween decorations.

While I was in the pharmacy the other day, which was still in August, I came across several displays for Halloween candy, decorations, accessories, and more.
Not only that, my neighbor in North Buffalo has had a huge Halloween display up for a couple of weeks.

Now, I know we all have our fascination with pumpkin spice and apple picking in Western New York, but it's way too early for all of it.
There is still a whole lot of summer left, and while it's going to get out of town quickly, it's not too late to knock off those last few things on your summer bucket list.

But you'd better hurry, because winter is coming.
