Why Was This NFL Hall Of Fame Quarterback “Tied Up” In Buffalo?
While it's hard for us who are native to the 716 to believe it, Buffalo has been a hotbed for people connected to Hollywood lately. Not only is Buffalo the hottest housing market in America, but it has also been a favorite location for several movie studios and major film producers.
Sharing a state with New York City sometimes makes it hard for places like Western New York to get their shine, but that, in fact, has been happening quite a bit lately.
It was just a few weeks ago that TV and movie star Mario Lopez was in town filming a movie, and complaining about how wonderful springtime in Buffalo is. Now it seems that another super famous person has been seen in town, getting the Buffalo treatment.
Why Was This NFL Hall Of Fame Quarterback Tied Up In Buffalo?
WIVB-TV captured something on video that might disturb many people all over the world, unless, of course, you're a Buffalo Bills fan (and a movie fan).
Peyton Manning, the NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback who spent his career with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos while earning two Super Bowl Championships, was in Western New York recently, where members of the Bills Mafia kidnapped him.
Manning was not in fact, kidnapped; he was in town with a film crew recording scenes for the NFL Network. During the filming, Buffalo Bills super fan Del Reid was also seen along with several members of various film crews, tons of extras, and support staff.
The Manningnapping took place outside of the Big Tree Inn just down the block from Highmark Stadium.
As the weather improves, it will be interesting to see what other activities are lined up for Western New York.
