“Big Money” Powerball Winner In New York State

It looks like Wednesday's Powerball drawing was lucky for one lottery player in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that one "Big Money" winning Powerball ticket was sold in New York State from Wednesday's drawing.

That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball. The ticket took home the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

Wednesday's Winning Powerball numbers were: 13-22-29-43-58 with a Powerball of 22

No one claimed the grand prize on Wednesday, so Saturday's jackpot is now up to $54 million.

The odds of winning the Powerball grand prize jackpot is 1 in 292,201,338.

The odds of winning the 3rd place prize of $50,000 is 1 in 913,129.
