Buffalo Bandits Claim Home Field Advantage For Playoffs

At least one Buffalo sports team will be participating in the playoffs this Spring.

While the Buffalo Sabres were eliminated from the NHL playoffs for the 14th straight year last week, the Buffalo Bandits secured home-field advantage for the playoffs.

The first playoff game is coming up on April 25th, with their opponent yet to be determined. The final weekend of the NLL regular season takes place this weekend, and the Bandits will find out who they will host after all the games are played.

The Bandits are looking to win their 7th overall championship and third in a row this season. They won the championship in 1992, 1993, 1996, 2008, 2023, and 2024.

It has also been a record year for the Bandits when it comes to home attendance.This season, over 150,000 fans have ventured out to the KeyBank Center to see the Bandits play.

The Bandits will wrap up their regular season this Saturday on the road as they take on the Georgia Swarm.
