We are in the middle of the "12 Best Days Of Summer" with the Erie County Fair and the opening day of the Fair was a record-breaking one.

One of the traditions of the Fair is to waive admission if you bring a non-perishable food donation to help FeedMore WNY. This year on opening day if you brought in at least 4 non-persible food items to donate you were allowed to enter the Fair for free.

Last year the Fair collected 140,834 pounds of food to be donated to FeedMore WNY.

The Erie County Fair continues through August 18th and there are still plenty of things happening at the Fair.

Today is the "Taste of the Fair" where food vendors will be selling samples of their food items for $3 apiece.
