The Erie County Fair is here, and as someone who has gone every year, there are some things that you learn.

For intance, if you have little one and want to watch the fireworks at the end of the day but don't want to get stuck in traffic, you can park in the nearby parking lots by Ollies and Aldi's and watch them You still get a great view but you won't have to fight traffic getting out of the parking areas.

The Erie County Fair runs from August 6th until August 17th. The gates open every day at 11 am and the Fair closes at 11 pm.

Fireworks happen every night during the Fair. The fireworks show will run between 9:30 pm and 9:40 pm.

You can get tickets to the Erie County Fair online HERE or at any entrance gate. Tickets are $22.60 each for people 13 years or older. Kids 12 and under get in for free.

There are some special days when there are discounted tickets. That includes opening day, where you can make a donation of 4 canned food items and get in for free.

Senior Discount Day is on Thursday, August 7. Anyone 62 or older pays only $15 to get into the fair. These tickets are only sold in person and are only available on August 7.

Firefighters Day is on  Friday, August 8. There will be free admission for Firefighters and Auxiliary Members with proper ID.

Veterans Day is on Sunday, August 10. All Veterans, Active Military, and Auxiliary members with proper ID get into the fair for free.

Double The Fun Gate Discount Day is Wednesday, August 13. You can get 2 admission tickets for $30. This pricing will be available online and at the gate on August 13th and is only valid that day.
