Wednesday's Powerball drawing made one lucky New Yorker a millionaire.

There was one 2nd place winning ticket sold in New York from Wednesday's Powerball drawing. That ticket matched all five numbers but missed on the Powerball to claim the $1 million prize.

Where the Ticket Was Sold In New York

The New York State Lottery announced that the ticket was sold at King's Hampton Bays C-Store, located at 239 Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, New York.

That wasn't the only "Big Money" winning ticket that was sold in New York from last night's Powerball drawing. There was one 3rd place winning ticket sold that matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number.

That ticket also had the Powerplay, which was three times the prize amount, so they ended up winning $150,000.

Other Winning Tickets

There were also 100 4th and 5th place winning tickets sold in New York, with each one of those tickets winning at least $100 each.

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were 5-20-29-39-53 with a Powerball of 06.

Since no one won the grand prize, the jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing is now up to $515 million.

If you are looking for an extra edge when it comes to winning the Powerball on Saturday you might want to take a drive to Newburgh, New York.

There is one store located there that is known for producing plenty of "Big Money" lottery winners. "Smokes for Less" has already sold one "Big Money" winning ticket this month and sold over 6 of them in 2024. It might be worth the drive to get some of the luck that seems to be flowing from that store.
