It looks like our mini blast of winter won't last too long here in Western New York.

The cold arctic air that has brought bone-chilling temperatures along with rain and snow will soon be gone and we will have a mini-warmup coming our way.

That push of warm air is set to increase our high temperatures by more than 15 degrees as we are looking at highs in the mid to upper 60s on Thursday and Friday. That warm front will also bring plenty of sunshine with it as well.

That warmer and sunnier weather is expected to last into the weekend as well. The 10-day forecast for Western New York is calling for sunshine with temperatures in the 60s for Saturday and Sunday. It gets even better as we head into next week.

The early weather forecasts are calling for temperatures in the upper 60s and maybe even 70 next Tuesday.

Fingers crossed that nice weather will take us into Halloween and it will be nice and warm for the trick-or-treaters.
