Travis Kelce Fined By NFL But Not Flagged In Bills Game
It took the NFL nearly a week to officially acknowledge that Travis Kelce did something wrong in the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills.
We all know the refs were calling the game in KC's favor and once again this proves it. Travis Kelce was hit with a fine of over $11,000 for taunting even though no referee flagged him for the gesture in the game.
In fact, Bills defensive lineman Jordan Phillips was flagged for unsportsmanlike conductive after pushing into Kelce.
The fact that Tony Romo mentioned that Kelce knows how to get under other players' skin means it is something he has done a lot in the past and apparently never flagged for it.
At least the NFL admitted he did something wrong, too bad it was six days too late.

As for the game overall, many NFL fans felt that the game was not officiated in a fair manner and that might lead to a rule change in the NFL. After the refs spotted the ball short of a first down several times for the Bills in that game, the NFL is now considering using technology to measure first downs next year.
They tested a new technology called "Hawkeye" during several preseason games and with many high-profile NFL fans calling for a ban of the Super Bowl after the ref botch job in the AFC Champion Game. On behalf of all Bills Mafia, let's hope the NFL gets this right.
