3- Officials with the New York DEC are warning residents that Black Bears will be more active this month. This is the final month bears will be awake before heading to their dens for hibernation. That means they are on the prowl for food and will spend up to 20 hours a day searching for it. That means there is an increased chance of interactions with humans. If you do see a bear, you should never approach it and let local law enforcement where you spotted it.
4– The New York Jets fired their head coach yesterday and that could mean some bad news for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills take on the Jets on Monday Night Football and since 2000, teams that have fired their head coach mid-season have had a 16% increase in wins the following game, which means the odds of the Bills winning just went down.
