When I was a little kid, I remember my older sister had a Sega Genesis console. It was usually Sonic and Micro Machines we played back then. It's such a nostalgic gaming console.

Now, that nostalgia will be on high alert. Sega is returning to the stores with a mini version of the Genesis console, according to WKBW.

They're also busy developing and licensing games for the mini console, such as "Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition," "Sonic the Hedgehog," "World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck" and "Castlevania: Bloodlines."

The mini Sega Genesis costs $80 and is half the size of the original. You can plug right into your TV and the controllers plug in via USB.

"The retro gaming market is definitely a niche market," said Ed Barton, chief analyst at research firm Ovum and previously a games industry analyst. "If you're of a certain age, you might remember them and this might be the easiest way to play games today."

This seriously might be something to put on the Christmas wish list this year!
