You know the first snowfall of the season is coming and it should be coming to Western New York on Friday.

According to WKBW, after a quick jump to the 50's Wednesday and Thursday, the cold temperatures swing through Friday and will shift rain late Thursday, to snow by Friday morning.

The good news is it should only be in the morning. In fact, skies should clear by Halloween and be nice and dry for any trick-or-treating, despite cool temperatures. It certainly will beat last year's Halloween night, which featured heavy rain and high winds.

The first snowfall of the season is always a big deal and I have always said if it's November, I'm not going to complain about snow since we do live in Western New York...

This would be almost making it to November, at least.
