The Stanley Cup Finals began last week in Chicago when the Blackhawks faced the Boston Bruins in Game 1 of the NHL's championship series. If Chicago loses, its fans may storm the offices of the city of nearby Park Ridge, Ill. in protest because the suburb's leaders obviously don't understand NHL playoff superstitions.
Two of the NHL's "original six" franchises will meet in the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 1979. The Boston Bruins, representing the Eastern Conference, will face the Western Conference-champs, the Chicago Blackhawks, with Game 1 starting at 8 p.m. EST Wednesday night.
The New England Patriots come up short again in their quest for another Super Bowl ring, but instead of talking about the Ravens' success it seems all anyone cares about is New England coach Bill Belichick's attitude after the game.
It's time to GET PUMPED THE F UP for the post season. So sit back, hit play and let 90's grunge rock and the best clips from this past year get your blood pumping and your team spirit raging. GO SABRES!
