The Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere starts on December 21st, 2019 and will end on March 19th, 2020.

So what does that mean?

It means that Saturday will be the shortest day of the year in terms of sunlight with a sunrise set for 7:43 am and sunset at 4:44 pm.

It also means that the Earth's axis is tilted away from the sun so colder weather will be headed our way!

Enjoy the warmth while you can!
