The Walden Galleria takes one step closer to normal this week, and it could mean a new job for you!

As capacity limits are beginning to disappear, things are beginning to open up again and the Walden Galleria is getting a jump start on it.  They’re going to expand their hours this week and they say that could mean extra jobs will become available.

They will be increasing hours in phases, with the first phase starting this Friday May 7th.

Phase 1, (beginning Friday May 7th):

  • Monday – Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Phase 2 (beginning Monday, June 28th):

  • Monday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (no change)

With extra hours, come extra shifts that need to be covered.  That means that there could be extra jobs available if you are in need of one.  There are a bunch of companies that are looking for extra help right now including Oakley, Anthropologie, Macy's, LOFT, Sports Obsession, and more.  To see the full list of jobs available, check out the Walden Galleria's job board.

They say the reasons for the expanded hours are due to steady increases in traffic, the vaccination rollout, re-opening of theatres and pent-up customer demand.

Keep in mind too that because the curfew's are going to be lifted soon, restaurant venues might be able to offer extended hours into the evening.  They are encouraging people to call ahead to confirm a specific venue’s hours of operation or visit the center’s online directory here.
