  • Niagara County and Orleans Counties: 8 am to 3 pm
  • Northern Erie and Genesse Counties:5 am to to 7 pm
  • Southern Erie and Wyoming counties: 2 am to 10 pm
  • Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties: now until 1 am on Thursday

Unlike many lake effect bands of snow, the northtowns will get their fair share.

According to WGRZ, the band will move north of Buffalo by the midday and that's when it's expected to be at its heaviest. 1-2 inches per hour is likely.

The band will move from the southern tier to the Buffalo metro by the morning commute, reach into Niagara County by midday, then go back to the southern tier later in the day.

You can see the expected totals below.

The morning commute isn't looking very fun so take some extra time to get to your destination.
