Sometimes if there's nothing going on with the Bills and Sabres, and I've already binged my favorite shows, my fiancee and I will kick back and watch The Food Network.

I love the shows on there. Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Chopped, Restaurant Impossible are all great, and come on, who doesn't love watching shows centered around food?

Sometimes we try and make some of the things we see on those shows and we usually have mixed results. It doesn't hurt to try though and what makes The Food Network even better is its features on locally-owned restaurants around the country.

They've even had stops in Western New York. Triple D has visited places such as Mulberry's, Lake Effect Diner, and Grover's. Restaurant Impossible has been to places recently such as Casa di Francesca’s, Park Vue Bar & Restaurant, and O'Neill's Stadium Inn.

But what makes Buffalo such a great town to live in is the food. The Food Network would have content for months with the number of great restaurants in the Buffalo area and it got us thinking, what other places should The Food Network visit here?

There's a lot to choose from -- from comfort food to fancy dishes and upscale to dive bars. Here are just 20 places that need to be featured on one of the most famous shows on television, 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.'
