The tradition continues!

Things will look a little different this year for the 43rd annual Shamrock Run in Buffalo to benefit the Old First Ward Community Center, but if you run the race every single year, you can keep your tradition alive!

This year there will be two different options for you to participate in the 'race' during the COVID-19 pandemic.

1.) Do it virtually. The price is 40 dollars.
2.) Do it in person. The price is 75 dollars.

Now, the catch is that only 150 people will be able to be participate in the in-person run. How will these people be chosen? At random if you sign up for the waiting list.

The first 1,000 registrations (virtual AND in-person) are guaranteed this year's race garment. According to WGRZ, there will be people all over the country participating in Buffalo's Shamrock run!

We will have a little over 1,000 runners participating virtually from California, Arizona, Ohio, Maryland, a number of other states. We are thankful for the community support for this annual fundraiser at the Old First Ward," Patrick Gormley of the Old First Ward Community Center said Sunday.

Last year the Shamrock had over 4,000 participants!
