Canalside tends to get a lot of the recognition when it comes to Buffalo's waterfront areas, but my kids have always been huge fans of the Outer Harbor. From Gallagher Beach, to the silo views, this is a totally underrated part of WNY.

We know there's a few places to grab a cone along Buffalo's Waterfront, but we'll always have a soft spot for meeting up with friends at The Hatch, on the Erie Basin Marina side of the waterfront.
