A Huge Night For Buffalo’s New Football Coach

The Buffalo football season has begun at the University of Buffalo! And not only did it start with a beautiful evening on Thursday at UB Stadium Amherst, it also started with an incredible win for the University of Buffalo Bulls football team.

It was the first win for Buffalo Bulls coach Maurice Linguist. Coach Mo' had an incredible night as UB wins 69-7 over the visiting Wagner Seahawks.

The weather was perfect for football on Thursday night as the University of Buffalo came out in full force scoring 24 in the second quarter and 21 in the third quarter! The only touchdown allowed came in the fourth quarter for Wagner.

There will be a good test for the University of Buffalo football team as they travel to take on Nebraska on Saturday, September 11. Kick off is scheduled at 3:30 on the Big Ten network.

It is so exciting to have football back again. If you were up early on Thursday morning, it certainly felt like far as the temperatures dipped into the 40° range for some areas of western New York. Yes the Buffalo Bills have gotten a lot of attention over the summer and the preseason certainly has been exciting, but there is more football being played outside of Orchard Park and Highmark Stadium.

Best of luck to the University at Buffalo and Coach Mo' on the upcoming season. Certainly an impressive start and a lot of people will be talking about this win as they go up for a big challenge next Saturday.
