Besides returning to the win column and maintaining their half-game lead over the New England Patriots for the AFC East the Bills did something that they have never done before in Franchise History.

The Buffalo Bills have been part of professional football for 51 years and most of those years including playoffs they have averaged around 16 games a year for a total of 816 games.

In those 816 games, the Buffalo never did one thing that they ended up doing on Sunday. For the first time in franchise history, the Buffalo Bills had four different players score a rushing touchdown in one game.

Yes, this past Sunday the Bills got touchdowns from Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, Mat Bredia, and Isaiah McKenzie. Four different players down the goalline on rushing attempt for the first time in Buffalo Bills history.

This season, critics of the Buffalo Bills say they are only one-dimensional, all they can do is throw. This past Sunday, the Bills relied on more than just the legs of QB Josh Allen to get the ground game going.

For the game, the Bills had a total of 139 rushing yards by 7 different players, Three running backs, two wide receivers, and two quarterbacks each recorded at least one rushing attempt. Devin Singletary led the way with seven carries for 43 yards and one touchdown. Zack Moss had seven carries for 27 yards while Matt Bredia had a total of three carries for 28 yards. Bredia also had one receiving touchdown in the win over the Jets.

Will the ground attack continue? We will see this Sunday as the Bills play host to the Indianapolis Colts at Highmark Stadium.
