Another Place To Celebrate The Fall In Western New York
So much to do and see throughout Western New York this time of year. The Pumpkin Farm is a traditional destination as well as, Pumpkinville in Ellicottville. And there is no shortage of haunted attractions. So many great places to go with family and friends.
But if you are not really in the mood to get up close and personal with zombies and witches and you really enjoy the warm colors of changing leaves but you are not a real outdoors person, there is a place that will illuminate and inspire anyone this time of year and it's all indoors without the stress of being scared.
WGRZ reports that "Autumn Twilight" is the latest exhibit in the Gardens After Dark series at the Botanical Gardens and will run October 13-17, 21- 24, 28, 30, 31 from 5:30-9 pm. Lights are set up all around to illuminate the thousands of exotic plants in the conservatory.
This is actually just one of many cool events happening in the garden. The Mum Exhibit is going on all month and there is the BOOtanical Celebration happening Sunday, October 17th and 24th. Don't forget the very popular Feed The Fish events that happen throughout the year.
The Buffalo Botanical Gardens is just another crown jewel that we here sometimes take for granted. Actually, when the weather gets a little colder there is no better place to visit. It is warm and you are surrounded by exotic, tropical plants. Hey, if you can't really can't get away to a tropical paradise, this is the next best thing.
