The New York Lottery stated that the winning Take 5 lottery ticket was sold at Corner Market on Potters Road in West Seneca. 

The corner markets in Western New York seem to be a lucky spot. You may remember that back in February of 2020, one ticket purchased from the Corner Market in Sloan at 2323 Broadway (near Harlem Rd),and that one was worth about $3 million!

This particular winning lottery ticket from this week is worth approximately $13,000 ($13,451 before taxes). As per the New York Lottery, a winner may cash in their ticket up to one year from the date of the drawing.

Take 5 lottery drawings take place every day at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The winning numbers for the day that this prized ticket won were as follows:

• Midday: 18 26 32 34 35
• Evening: 06 07 11 21 31

There are plenty of lucky places in Western New York. Before Tuesday, the last known place in Western New York that sold a winning lottery ticket was also in West Seneca! That lucky location in Western New York was  the Ebenezer Stop & Shop, which sold a winning Take 5 lottery last month that was worth more than $40,000.
