Bills Clinch AFC East At Home For The 1st Time In 27 Years

It has been a long time since Bills Mafia have been able to see the Buffalo Bills clinch the AFC East at home.

After yesterday's win over their AFC East division rival the New York Jets, the Buffalo Bills for the second straight year will be the AFC East winner. It has been a while since they clinched at home.

In fact, the last time the Bills clinched the AFC East title at home in front of Bills fans was back in 1995, nearly 27 years ago.

So of course Bills mafia were rocking out and making some noise inside and around Highmark Stadium on Sunday as they celebrated the AFC East crown.

The win on Sunday probably wasn't the blowout win that most Bills Mafia members were hoping for, but the Bills were able to pull off the win to claim the crown.

The final score will say 27-10, but the Bills offense sputtered for much of the game. Josh Allen went 24 of 45 for 239 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 63 yards on eight attempts.

The Bills committed to the run game for a second straight week as Devin Singletary had 88 yards on 19 carries and one rushing touchdown. He also caught two passes for 24 yards and one touchdown.

Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who wore special cleats to honor Betty White in pregame (See Them HERE), started the game on fire getting a 1st quarter touchdown but was held in check for much of the game catching 9 passes for 81 yards.

It was the Bills' defense that really shined in the AFC East clinching win over the Jets. The defense gave rookie QB Zack Wilson all sorts of issues all day long as ended the game with 9 sacks. Jordan Poyer and Mario Addison lead the sack attack for the Bills with each of them getting two sacks apiece.

Up next for the Bills will be a home playoff game. The Bills will head into this playoffs as the #3 seed in the AFC.
