The Bills had very high expectations going into the 2020 regular season and while the game atmosphere certainly didn't look or feel the same (no fans at Bills stadium), the season kicked off in a way we all hoped and expected.

The Bills won their first game of the 2020 season at home against the New York Jets, 27-17.

Leading the way was Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who threw for 312 yards, marking the first time since 2016 a Bills quarterback threw for 300 or more yards (it was also Allen's first career 300+ yard passing game).

Alen threw two touchdowns, one to running back Zack Moss, and the other to veteran wide receiver John Brown. Allen also ran for a touchdown.

As for the Bills new wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, he caught 8 passes from Allen and looked very good in his Bills debut.

Bills lost linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano to injury, so we'll see if they will miss any time moving forward.

The Bills beat the Jets in last season's opener at the Jets.

It felt like the Bills dominated the New York Jets throughout the afternoon, but some costly fumbles and missed tackles kept this game from being a blowout.

Next week the Bills travel to Miami to play the Miami Dolphins, who lost their opener against the New England Patriots. The Dolphins will have some fans at home next Sunday.

The Bills are 1-0, so it'll be a good Monday in Buffalo.
