Blue Jays Put Together Incredible Comeback At Sahlen Field

It was a perfect day for baseball in Buffalo on Thursday and the Toronto Blue Jays took advantage of it by sweeping a doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies.

It was what happened in the second game that has fans of Major League Baseball talking today. The Blue Jays were down by seven runs! As the Tweet below indicates; it was 7-0 at one point!

The Jays put together a great comeback in their temporary home of Sahlen Field in Buffalo, New York. The Blue Jays won 9-8 in the second game after a 3-2 win in the first.

The weather was perfect and would have made for an incredible day for fans if they were allowed to be in the stands. The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted government to keep fans from being in attendance. It is a shame because there is some excellent baseball being played this summer.
