Bob Dylan Reveals New U.S. Spring Tour Dates
After the release of his thirty-fifth studio album ‘Tempest’ last September, Bob Dylan spent several months out on tour bringing his critically acclaimed live show to the masses. He must have enjoyed his time spent on the road because the icon has just revealed a handful of new dates spanning throughout the U.S.
Starting on April 5, this new leg of Dylan’s tour will kick off here in Buffalo and UB's Alumni Arena. The trek will then make its way down the East Coast with stops in Maine and Rhode Island, just to name a few. The dates will wrap up on April 21 in Bowling Green, Ohio at Bowling Green State University. Check out all the dates below.
Ticket on sale dates vary based on the show but many of them go on sale starting Saturday, March 2. For more specific details, visit Bob Dylan’s website.
Folk-rockers Dawes will join Dylan as the opening act for all new dates.
In other Dylan news, it was recently revealed that a special Record Store Day ‘Wigwam’ demo - the original version of which was released on 1970's 'Self Portrait' - will be available as a 7” vinyl single. It will be backed with the previously unreleased version of Dylan’s cover of Eric Andersen's ‘Thirsty Boots.’ Fans can pick it up on April 20 at record stores nationwide.
