WATCH New Buffalo Bills Receiver Melt the Turf With Insane Agility Moves
The Buffalo Bills welcomed some new receivers to their roster this offseason. Gone are Amari Cooper and fan favorite Mack Hollins. Cooper was traded last season to try to help open things up a bit for Josh Allen. It worked, though Cooper did not have a very productive season. His contract expired, and he remains a free agent; however, rumors suggest he may return to the Raiders, which has some drama attached to it.
Hollins was only on a 1 year deal and left the Bills for rival New England, much to the surprise of many Bills fans who had thought he would be re-signed. He had a good seaosn and made clutch plays, though he wasn't a game breaker week in and week out.
The New Buffalo Bills Receivers
The Bills instead opted for new receivers who specialize in getting separation, which is something every receiver on the Bills, except for Kahlil Shakir, struggles with. Those receivers are Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore.
Palmer comes to the Bills from the Chargers, where he was a favorite of Justin Herbert for a time, but didn't have massive production playing behind Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston. His advanced analytics reveal a knack for getting open and creating separation, providing Josh Allen with more open areas to throw to.
The same can be said for Elijah Moore. He comes to the Bills from the Cleveland Browns, and before that, the New York Jets. Both had poor quarterback play during his tenure, but he is known for getting open and separation.
Elijah Moore Turns Heads With Video
If this drill is any indication, the Bills have found themselves an ankle breaker in Moore, who posted this offseason training video on X:
Palmer is projected by many ahead of Moore on the Depth chart, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out. The only person in the Bills' wide receivers room who is locked in as a starter is Shakir. Keon Coleman will have every chance to start. Palmer and Moore will battle for the other outside spot.
Are you impressed with Moore's video? Or is it just offseason hype? Let me know: Pat@WBUF.com
