If you are headed to the Bills game against the Eagles on Sunday at Highmark Stadium, you are going to want to dress in layers and bring some rain gear. After dealing with sleet and freezing rain earlier this weekend, the rain will continue with possible snow during the game.

Buffalo Bills Game Forecast

The National Weather Service is calling for a gloomy gameday forecast for Sunday's Bills game at Highmark Stadium. Sunday will start off on the chilly side but things will warm up to the upper 40s by kickoff.

With that warmer high temperature, early morning scattered snow showers will transition to rain, and plenty of rain is on the way. A flood watch has already been issued for all of Western New York.

Flood Watch Issued For Western New York

The flood watch will be in place until Monday afternoon with most spots in Western New York getting 1 to 1 5 inches of rain within a 24-hour period. That rain, along with snow melt, could cause flooding around Highmark Stadium and Western New York.

If you are headed to the game, make sure you have some rain gear ready to roll. The rain will be coming down for much of the game, as well as before and after the game. Tailgate grilling and partying could be impacted by the rain as well.

If you ask me, I would prefer snow over rain for the Bills game. At least with the snow, you can just brush it off your clothes and seats. With the rain, as soon as you get wet, it is hard to get dry, and sitting at the game soaking wet doesn't make for a great game day experience.

Kickoff for the Bills' game against the Eagles is set for 4:25 pm.
