The website rotowire.com recently put out their rankings of the hardest and easiest schedules for this upcoming season, and things are not great for the Buffalo Bills.

Based on their metrics, the Buffalo Bills have the 2nd-hardest schedule in the entire NFL. The only saving grace is that the hardest schedule in the league belongs to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Rotowire uses these 7 metrics to measure the ease of each NFL schedule. They are short weeks, strength of schedule, travel miles, consecutive road games, cold-weather games, bye placement, and opponent rest disadvantage.

Based on those seven indices, the Bills have one of the hardest schedules of the upcoming season.

Here is how the rest of the AFC East played out.

New England Patriots - 3rd Hardest
Miami Dolphins - 17th Hardest
New York Jets - 24th Hardest.

As for the AFC, the Chiefs, Bills, Patriots, and Chargers have four out of the top 5 hardest schedules. The lone NFC in the top 5 was the Philadelphia Eagles.

On the flip side, the Titans, Saints, and Bucs have the three easiest schedules, with Tennessee having the easiest schedule in the NFL.
