Are The Buffalo Bills Wasting Josh Allen's Talent
If the "real" reason McDermott was let go was that the team hit a playoff wall and couldn't get over the playoff hump, why would you promote from within? It seems like it is going to put Brady behind the eight ball. Would Brady been part of that wall the team hit?
I am not saying that Brady won't be a good head coach; I just think the Bills needed to do something different. In my opinion, when McDermott was fired, Brandon Beane should have also been let go.

Now, you have another Beane guy, who is the head coach. Will Brady push back against Beane if they disagree on a player, or will he be happy that Beane gave him a shot as head coach and just go with the flow?
I think the Bills made the wrong move with the promotion of Brady. I would cleaned house and brought in an outside voice with an outside candidate, but I am not a Billionaire, or a GM with the ear of a billionaire.
