The NFL League year has started, and there is A LOT going on with the Buffalo Bills. From a new head coach to a brand new stadium, things will be different in Western New York in the upcoming NFL season.

Who Will The Buffalo Bills Play In 1st Game At Highmark Stadium

The Buffalo Bills will open the new season in a brand new stadium, and that means they will most likely open the season in one of the Primetime spots on Sunday or Monday night. So who will they host?

I don't think it will be Baltimore, since the Ravens opened the season in Buffalo this year. I don't think it would be the Jets or the Dolphins because of a lack of national interest.

I don't think it will be Kansas City. I think the NFL will have them open the season at home. I don't like the idea of any of the NFC teams; I think it has to be an AFC team. That leaves the Chargers and Patriots.

My best guess is that it will be the New England Patriots. The reigning Super Bowl winner usually opens the season at home, and last year, Kansas City, which lost in the Super Bowl to the Eagles, opened the season on the road.

I could see the NFL try to build up the rivalry between the Bills and Patriots and have the teams play week 1 in Buffalo and week 18 in New England. They would love to build up the drama of the race for the AFC East and AFC Championships.
