UPDATE:  The Bills now say snow shovelers are no longer needed at New Era Field.

In a city known for its snowfall, the NFL in its infinite wisdom scheduled the Buffalo Bills for just one home game in September and three home games in December.  And sure enough snow will be a factor for this Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

As a result of the recent snow the Buffalo Bills are requesting help in removing the snow from New Era Field in preparation for Sunday's game.  The Bills and Jani-King are asking anyone 18 or over (with proper working papers) to show up at the stadium beginning Friday morning at 9 am and work for as long as they like.  The pay is $12.00 per hour.

Lunch and dinner breaks will be provided in a warm, comfortable area.  In addition the Bills will provide a complimentary game ticket to anyone who works a shift of four hours or more.

Prospective workers are asked to dress appropriately and to bring their own shovel.  If you don't have one, a shovel will be provided.  Workers must have photo ID (driver's license or state ID) to be able to work.

Workers can enter the stadium grounds off Abbott Road just north the Bills team store and look for the Jani-King office trailer east of Lot 6.
