Buffalo Bills Being Called Communists?

The Buffalo Bills are a very popular NFL team. They are beloved in Western New York, across the Empire State, and all around America. From their rowdy but generous fans off the field, to their fun and explosive team on it, the Bills are regularly among the most popular teams in the NFL.

That includes a massive global following.

Canada has long loved the Buffalo Bills for their proximity to their border. There was also a time when they played several regular-season games in Toronto. It goes beyond Canada, though. Several nations in Africa are big fans, as is much of Europe.

However, one country that loves the Bills is having some call the team communists.

Buffalo Bills Being Called Communists?

According to a map of the Most popular NFL teams worldwide, the Bills are the favorite team of Russia.

Now, it should be noted that a Baltimore Ravens fan site is the one pushing this out and throwing shade at the Bills. They used hashtags with the words communism and "Josh Stalin," suggesting the Bills are communists.

No, the Bills are not a communist team, whatever that means. The Bills just happen to be popular in Russian, while the Baltimore Ravens appear to be popular nowhere, according to the map. The Bills are almost the most popular team in places that are very much democracies, but let's be honest, we all know that. This si just a cheap show from a Baltimore fan site.

It's not surprising, as some Baltimore fans are upset their team can't beat the Bills in the playoffs. Some are also upset that their QB, Lamar Jackson, lost out to Josh Allen for MVP this year. Lamar has won 2 MVPs already. Those fans are bitter at the Bills and their fans.

There's also the issue when Jackson was injured playing against the Bills in the playoffs a few years ago, and the Bills Mafia donated thousands to his charity as a show of sportsmanship, while Baltimore did little to nothing. Bills fans respect Jackson and what he brings tot he game. Sadly, some Ravens fans are poor losers.
