It looks like the Bills Mafia is a bridesmaid one more time. The Buffalo Bills have come in second a bunch of times in the Super Bowl and AFC Championship games, and now the fans can't even win "Best Tailgate Experience".

Bills Mafia Tailgates Named 2nd Best In NFL

A new study released last week shows that tailgating before a Bills game is A LOT of fun! The tailgates outside of Highmark Stadium were ranked 2nd best in the NFL. The study used three major categories to define a good tailgate: Affordability, Fan Passion, and Accessibility.

Out of 100, the tailgates in Buffalo got a 63.77, which was good enough for 2nd place in the NFL. Bills tailgate got high marks for low cost of beer and food, and interest from the fan base.

The worst scores for Bills tailgates were in the cost of parking and the cost of fuel needed to run the BBQs during the tailgate experience.

The Dallas Cowboys were named the top tailgate in the NFL, while the other teams in the AFC, Miami, New England, and New Jersey Jets failed to make it into the Top 5. Only the Jets tailgate made it into the Top 10.

What Makes A Good Buffalo Bills Tailgate?

There are three things that I think you need to have a great tailgate in Buffalo.

People you like to hang out with: Friends or Family, if you have a bunch of people that you like hanging out with, it will be a good tailgate

Things To Do: From games like beer pong to a TV to watch other NFL games to speakers to blast some good music, if you are tailgating, you need things to do.

Food And Drink: Eating and drinking at a tailgate shouldn't be like going out for a normal lunch or dinner. Try new things, make foods you normally don't eat,and bring drinks that you normally don't have. Tailgating is perfect for experimenting.

If we do these things, who knows, Bills tailgates could be #1 next year.
