Bills Mafia Fuming Over Lack Of Tickets To Highmark Stadium

Thousands of members of Bills Mafia were on their computers and phones yesterday, hoping to grab tickets to the open practice at the new Highmark Stadium on August 18th. So the question is, "Did you get your tickets?"

Massive Queue For Buffalo Bills Tickets

The free tickets to the Buffalo Bills open practice where availible to Bills Mafia members on Tuesday at 10 am at Ticketmaster.com. The way the queue worked is that everyone in the lobby when the clock struck 10 am would randomly be assigned a place in line to get tickets.

I logged in around 9:35 am and had to wait until around 9:50 am to be placed in the lobby. When it turned 10 am, I was assigned the 8971st place in line. While that number was high, I was confident that I would get tickets since the limit per transaction was 4 tickets.

By my math, 8970 times 4 equals 35,880 tickets, which is well below the stadium capacity of the new Highmark Stadium. So did I get tickets?

I did not...so I am not sure how many tickets the Bills had available, but it was not nearly full capacity of the stadium.
