It looks like the Buffalo Bills might not be done wheeling and dealing this offseason, at least according to one former Buffalo Bills general manager.

During his talk show, former Bills GM Doug Whaley stated that it is his belief that the Bills are looking to trade Stefon Diggs during this year's NFL draft.

He also stated that due to the contract extension Diggs wants at current Wide Reciever prices for his talent, the Bills wouldn't be able to re-sign Diggs next year after his contract runs out. He thinks that the Bills will look to move Diggs for draft capital and then try to move up on this year's NFL draft.

Whaley also stated that the team could find wide receiver help in the later rounds of this draft to make up for the loss of Diggs.

Currently, Stefon Diggs has two years remaining on his contract and current Bills GM Brandon Beane stated he was in no hurry to sign Diggs to an extension.

If the Bills were to trade Diggs, that would leave Gabe Davis, Isaiah McKenzie,
Isaiah Hodgins, newly signed Jamison Crowder, Jake Kumerow, Tanner Gentry, and Marquez Steveson on the roster in the wide receiver group.

Stefon Diggs cap hit this year is over $17 million dollars and the team could have around $9 million dollars if they trade him. Diggs is the highest cap hit on the Buffalo Bills this season.

The Buffalo Bills are under the current cap by around $3.6 million dollars so there is not a lot of wiggle room to make deals before heading into the NFL draft.
