Buffalo has some of the best breweries, not only in New York State, but in the country.  We've been saying that we will have award winning breweries at Buffalo On Tap.  The New York State Craft Beer Competition just certified it.

If you've never been to Buffalo On Tap, don't miss it this year!  There are a couple reasons why you aren't going to want to miss it.  First and foremost, it's huge.  There are over 50 breweries represented and over 100 beers for you to choose from to try.

Also, the New York State Craft Beer Competition just took place and Western New York showed up big. See the complete list of winners by clicking here.   Western New York Breweries that won included:

New York Beer Project (Bronze - Barrel Aged Non-Sour)

Thin Man Brewery (Silver - Barrel Aged Non-Sour and Bronze - Imperial Stouts and Porters )

Rusty Nickel (Bronze - Amber/Red Ales (British, American, Irish, Scottish) and Bronze - Fruit & Spice Beer (non-sour))

Pressure Drop (Silver - American IPA)

Woodcock Brothers Brewery (Silver - American IPA Variations and Silver - Brown Ale (American & British))

...and a big winner for the day was Batavia's own Eli Fish.  They took home 5 awards including the “New York State Craft Beer” award and the 2021 Governor’s Cup.

Congratulations to all the winners!

Now, if you'd like to try some of these award winning beers, be sure to get your tickets to Buffalo On Tap, presented by Consumers Beverages.

Saturday, July 24th at the Hamburg Fairgrounds Events Center.

Tickets are available at all Consumer’s Beverages locations and BuffaloOnTap.com. You must be 21 and over to attend.

It really is a great event.  I've been there multiple years and had a blast every time.  Plus, I always walk away with a new beer that I want to put in my fridge.
