One injury will change the whole game plan for the Buffalo Bills this week as they return from their BYE week to take on the Carolina Panthers. The Bills will have to prep for a new starting QB in Sunday's game.

Major Injury Will Impact The Bills/Panthers Game

It was announced that Panther's starting QB Bryce Young will not be starting Sunday's game against Buffalo due to an injured ankle. The Panthers' backup, Andy Dalton, is expected to start the game for Carolina.

The Bills' defense will need some time to adjust its game plan to take on the "Red Rifle" Dalton has played in only two games so far this season, going 9 for 13 for 118 yards and one touchdown. He has also been sacked once this year.

It will be a different-looking quarterback for the Panthers. Young, who was the #1 overall pick in the NFL in 2023, is known to use his legs to get out of tight situations and is more mobile than Dalton. The Bills' pass rush should be amped up for this change.

The Panthers come into the game with a 4-3 record, and they are currently on a three-game winning streak.

Buffalo Bills Undefeated After BYE Weeks

These two stats are good news for Bills Mafia. Sean McDermott is 8-0 after a BYE week, and Bills QB Josh Allen is 7-0 in his career after the BYE week. Here's hoping both of them remain undefeated after Sunday's game.
